Over the Memorial Day weekend we took a trip to Omaha. It was our first vacation as a family of four :) We have never been to Omaha to see the zoo or children's museum, but have been wanting to go ever since Ayden turned 2. Last summer we were too busy trying to sell the house, move, and Cael was still pretty young to go on a trip like that. We took off on Saturday morning and headed to the zoo. It rained most of the way there, but luckily it stopped just before we arrived. Perfect timing! We took the double stroller, but Ayden was only in it for about 10 minutes and wanted to walk the rest of the time. Both boys loved looking at all the animals. I was worried about Cael getting cranky because he had just stopped taking his morning nap and didn't sleep at all in the car, but he was in a good mood and was just having fun taking everything in. It was a fun day at the zoo, and made the Blank Park Zoo look tiny!
