I made both boys a four-leaf clover shirt for St. Patrick's Day. Bought some green dotted material. Traced a four-leaf clover onto some Steam-a Seam (iron on stuff for fabric that enables you to iron on fabric or appliques to clothing), then put it onto the fabric, cut it out, and ironed it on. Then I used a zig-zag stitch and sewed around it on the shirt.
